What are the opening hours?
Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm. Saturday: 8:30am-5:00pm. Sunday: 9:00am-5:00pm. Our tearoom, food hall and gift hall all have the same opening hours.
We are open bank holidays and throughout the Easter period (including Easter Sunday).
We are closed only for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome around the ground of Mainsgill Farm. Please ensure all dogs are on a lead as we have many other animals on site and a busy car park.
No dogs are allowed inside the food hall and tearoom apart from guide dogs. We have outdoor seating facilities available for our tearoom where dogs are welcome.
Is there a picnic site available?
Mainsgill Farm have a strict no picnic policy. All facilities are free to use for our tearoom customers.
Is there disabled access to all areas?
Our food hall is fully accessible, with a lift for access to our gift floor. All restaurant areas and toilets are fully accessible. We have two disabled toilet facilities on site – one in our tearoom, and one in our food hall.
Can we get a caravan or large vehicle parked in the car park?
Yes, we have adequate parking for caravans and large vehicles. During busy times we are able to assist with parking.
Can we reserve a table in the tearoom?
Due to our system in our popular tearoom we do not take reservations for tables; tables are allocated upon arrival. We are extremely speedy and have room for everyone!

We welcome coach drivers and passengers at Mainsgill Farm! We have parking available for coaches, delicious home cooked foods, snacks and light bites in our speedy tearoom, and the perfect last-minute purchases in our food hall! Does the tearoom cater for allergens?
We accommodate for allergen and dietary requests in our tearoom. With all our foods made fresh on site daily we can cater for any requests! Ask upon your arrival regarding allergens and a member of our team will be happy to help.
What animals are there to see on the farm?
We have lots of animals to see during your visit to Mainsgill Farm. We have cattle, sheep, lambs, pigs and more exotic animals such as camels and llamas! Check out our ‘on the farm’ page for more information. Our three camels are called: Doris, Delilah and Camelot.
How much is it to visit the animals?
We do not charge for visiting the animals – they are all free for all our customers. Our animals are in their natural surroundings and there’s always lots to see!
Feeding our animals is not permitted at all times. Hand wash facilities are available onsite.
Is there a children play area available?
We have a play area available for our customers next to our tearoom. We have outdoor eating facilities as well. Our play area consists of: a zip-wire, swings, climbing frame, sandpit and ride-on tractors. We politely remind our customers all children must be supervised at all times when using the play area.
Can I pay by credit card?
We welcome all major credit and debit cards here at Mainsgill Farm.
Any transactions under £5.00 will incur a 25p charge. American Express is currently not accepted.
Do we sell gift vouchers?
We sell gift vouchers for any amounts here at Mainsgill. They can be used in any department. Please enquire in store for assistance.
